Characteristics:
Crystal tea ledum shoots contains essential oil, flavone's glycosides and others biologically active substances.
Descriptive information:
Caulis bits, leaves and fruit. Green, dark-green, orange-brown, grey-brown color. Sharp and specific aroma.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Expectorant drug of vegetable origin.
Pharmacological action:
Extract of crystal tea ledum shoots has expectorate action, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and hypotensive characteristics; has excitatory influence on the central nervous system and myometrium.
Indications for use:
Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tracts, accompanied with cough with heavy discriminating expectoration (bronchitis, tracheitis and others).
Contra indications:
Hypersensibility to the preparation, pregnancy, breast-feeding period, under 18 years of age.
Posology and method of administration:
Put about 10 g (two table-spoons) of crystal tea ledum shoots in enamel dish, fill up with 200 ml. (one cup) of boiled water, cover with the lid, heat on the boiling water bath and stir occasionally during 45 minutes, filter it, squeeze remaining raw material. Bring the volume of received tincture with boiled water to 200 ml.
Ingest in warm state taking one-third or one-forth of the cup 2-3 times a day.
Tincture should be shaken before taken.
Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reaction, vertigo, increased nervous irritability, irritancy are possible; taking high dose of medicine may cause symptoms of exaltation or inhibition of central nervous system.
Interaction with other medicinal preparation:
It is not recommended to prescribe tincture of crystal tea ledum shoots simultaneously with antitussive medicinal preparation.
Release form: crushed material in cardboard package on 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 75, 100 g.

Of 30 g, 35 g, 40 g, 45 g, 50 g, 60 g, 75 g, 100 g of crushed shoots in cardboard packing with inside pile.

Storage conditions:
In dry, shadowed place; prepared tincture in cool dry place up to 2 days. Keep away from children!
Expiration date:
3 years.
Do not use preparation if the expiry date (month and year) printed on the pack has passed.
