Composition:
Propolis- Propolisi
Alcohol - Spiritus aethylicus

Pharmacological properties:
Produce anti-inflammatory, wound healing effect.

Indications for use:
Propolis tincture is applied as wound healing and anti-inflammatory preparation at microtrauma and blemish of skin and mucous membrane, otitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, maxillitis and parodentium diseases and others.

Contra indications:
Application of the preparation is contraindicative at acute eczema, individual intolerance, allergic reactions, including products of beekeeping.

Posology and method of administration:
Put a cotton wad, wetted in propolis tincture, on the wound 1-3 times a day at blemish of skin (microtrauma).
Put a wad into the ear, wetted in propolis tincture, to 1-2 minutes 2-3 times a day at chronic purulent otitis after careful cleaning from purulent.
Dub tonsils 1-2 times a day during 8-15 days at chronic pharyngitis.
Moreover, propolis tincture is applied as inhalation by water liquid with correlation 1:20 at chronic tonsillitis. Treatment course with inhalations is 7-10 days.
Apply at chronic maxillitis. Irrigate cavity 2 times a day during 14 days (mix propolis tincture with isotonic liquid of sodium chloride with correlation 1:10).
Put propolis tincture on turunda into parodentium excavation for 5 minutes after deep curettage at parodentium diseases.
In the presence of wound surface on the mucous membrane of oral cavity, apply propolis tincture as rinsing (15 ml. to ½ cup with warm water) 4-5 times a day during 3-4 days.

Side effects:
Allergic response is possible; the application of preparation should be stopped in this case.
