Characteristics:
Sandy everlasting florets contain flavonoids, coumarines and others biologically active substances.
Descriptive information:
Single anthodes, seldom of 2-3 anthodes together, spherical, single thalamus and their bits are with remains of whole folioles of involucre, single folioles of involucre, disk flowers and their parts, bits of flower-bearing stems, leaves and stems. The color is gray-yellow with lemon, orange, whitish-gray or greenish-gray, seldom grayish-brown, dark-brown and greenish-brown droplets. The smell is slight and aromatic. The taste of one water extraction is spicy-biter.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Cholagogue remedy of vegetative origin.
Pharmacological action:
Decoction of sandy everlasting florets produce cholagogue action.
Indications for use:
In complex therapy of chronic noncalculous cholecystitis and hepatitis, biliary dyskinesia; reconstitution of bilis with risk of cholelithiasis development.
Contra indications:
Hypersensibility to preparation, gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis in exacerbation stage, acute pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, pregnancy, breast-feeding period, pediatric use (up to 12 years).
Posology and method of administration:
Put about 10 g. (4 table-spoons) of sandy everlasting florets in enamel dish, fill up with 200 ml. (one cup) of boiled water, cover with the lid, heat on the boiling water bath for 30 minutes with frequent stir. Cool it for 10 minutes at room temperature. Filter it, and squeeze remaining raw material. Bring the volume of received decoction with boiled water to 200 ml.
Ingest of 1/2-1/3 cup in warm form 2-3 times a day 15 minutes before meals.
Decoction should be shaken before taken.
Side effects:
Allergic response is possible.
Release form:
Of 30 g, 35 g, 40 g, 45 g, 50 g, 60 g, 75 g, 100 g of crushed florets in cardboard packing with inside pile.

Storage conditions:
In dry, shadowed place; prepared decoction - in cool place up to 2 days.

Expiration date:
4 years.
Do not use preparation if the expiry date (month and year) printed on the pack has passed.
